Dead Cells is a rogue-lite action-platformer with a hint of Metroidvania. Dive into a sprawling, ever-changing castle and face relentless guardians in 2D combat within a souls-lite universe with no checkpoints. In this game, kill, die, learn, and try again - that's the key to progression. To keep the gameplay experience fresh, new content is regularly added every 2 or 3 months.
The game features 17 levels, each offering a unique atmosphere, formidable enemies, and secrets to uncover. Face 5 bosses crafted by sadistic developers and rigorously tested by relentless playtesters. With around 150 weapons and skills available, you'll get to choose from a variety of weapons like spears, swords, bows, magic spells, shields, pets, and even frying pans.
Dead Cells also offers a fluid and fun combat system, with a handy dodge to get you out of tight spots. Use 4 special powers to unlock new areas and paths, giving the game a true Metroidvania feel. Additionally, a Boss Rush mode allows you to fight through 3 or 5 bosses in a row, with enhanced and even more challenging versions.
